The 2016 Comprehensive Zoning Map Process (CZMP) takes place every four years for Baltimore County and follows a schedule specified in the County’s code. The information from the County’s website states that any citizen may request a zoning change on any property in the County, although the usual participants in the process are individual landowners, contract purchasers, community organizations, County staff, the Planning Board and the County Council.
The process covers a period of approximately twelve months. For more details, go to Baltimore County’s website.
There are currently two CZMP “issues” within our boundaries. We will study these issues, meet with the Petitioners and share information with our members.
Petitioner: Two Farms, Inc. (Royal Farms)

The Baltimore County Department of Planning website, listed below, has information about the CZMP, including all zoning requests detailed in the Log of Issues and the Planning Board’s schedule and hearing dates.
The Planning Board will hold public hearings on all zoning issues during March. The hearing for Second District Issues is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, March 8, 2016, at Sudbrook Middle School.
Citizens are welcome to attend and present their comments on issues at the public hearing. If you are unable to attend the hearing, you may send written comments to:
